To support its growth and expansion, Re.aL. chose to implement JSeven, the WMS developed by JData: a modular and highly configurable solution designed to adapt to the specific operational needs of logistics companies.
 
ERP and WMS integration for synchronized warehouse operations management
 
With the support of the JData technical team, a structured integration was implemented between the ERP system and JSEVEN, with the goal of ensuring coordinated management and constant alignment of warehouse movements.
 
File import processes from the ERP were implemented, allowing JSeven to automatically record the movements performed within the management system while keeping stock levels consistently aligned between ERP and WMS.
 
To ensure process reliability, an automatic monitoring system for import results was introduced. In the event of data anomalies, JData and the client’s designated contacts receive email notifications containing detailed error information, enabling quick and targeted intervention.
 
The system also includes specific control mechanisms designed to minimize the risk of operational errors. If issues occur in the imported files, processing is temporarily blocked to prevent data that has already been acquired from being re-imported, thereby avoiding possible misalignments between ERP and WMS.
 
When files contain multiple movements, JSeven is able to process the valid parts correctly while flagging those that contain errors. A subsequent manual reprocessing allows only the sections that previously failed to be processed again.
 
In addition to the integration flow from ERP to WMS, the reverse communication has also been implemented: the warehouse system can send information directly to the ERP system, ensuring continuous and bidirectional data exchange between the two environments.
 
Finally, at the client’s request, a specific feature for serial number management was introduced. Serial numbers are read exclusively during the outbound phase and undergo a double check on the barcode format, ensuring an additional verification of the correctness of the goods being shipped.
